From 2 chapter of Kularnava Tantra:
pūrvajanmakṛtamyāsāt kulajñanaṁ prakāśate
svapnotthita pratyayavadupadeśākaṁ vinā
28. As dream visions give a sleeping person knowledge without any other instruction, so spiritual knowledge (kulajnana) arises without instruction, due to spiritual practice in past lives, and the soul’s development.
janmāntarasahasreṣu yā buddhirvihitā nṛṇam
tameva labhate janturupadeśo nirarthakaḥ

29. That understanding, determined by a thousand previous
lives, only that gives realization, instruction accomplishes
nothing.
32. Spiritual knowledge is revealed to those people who have
been freed from sin by asceticism, chanting mantras, charity,
sacrifice, bratas, pilgrimage, and other practices performed in the
past.
