Jamini (Baba's disciple) asks Baba: If the truth is that I can do whatever I please, then can I commit a sin such as theft or adultery?

Baba Lokenath: You cannot do that. Try and see, you cannot do that. As an individual advances on the path to the spirit, he or she cannot do such activities which are against the norms of the shastras or the society because that invariably brings a state of repentance on the individual. The phase that you have crossed, you usually do not return to, just as you cannot crawl on the floor like a child now that you have grown older.
