Once you offer anything to anyone, you have no right to direct how the gift has to be used

On Dan or gift, Baba Lokenath Brahmachari made it clear that once you give anything to your guru or god, you no longer have any rights to that gift. Once a devotee at Baradi ashram came with a basket full of fruits and Baba called his loving bull (this bull used to live in the ashram), and the bull was about to eat the fruits with so much joy, but the giver, came running with a stick and was about to hit the bull, for he thought he gave the fruits for Baba to eat, not a bull!

Baba admonished the devotee saying, "Once you offer anything to anyone, you have no right to direct how the gift has to be used, it is totally the discretion of the receiver of the gift"!
